Berlin Lacht 2013 is an international street theater festival in Berlin that was first launched in 2004! This year marks the 10th anniversary of Berlin laughing. The event is established via an international network of artists and it is an open theater presentation.

The organizes believe that performing “theater in public space” targets the urban lifestyle and it transforms everyday places into special stages and therefore it also transforms human relationships. Street theater is open to anyone and everyone and reaches its audience directly and often surprisingly. It carries joy and sensitivity to connect with people without calling an elitist or intellectual standards. Art and theater in public space have tremendous value for life and sense of belonging in a city. There is no set ticket price, but payment is rather based on good will and donations! So please, be generous and respectful of other’s hard work and talent!

The event happens in two waves-1 in August and 1 in September! Here are the exact dates:
