La boheme in Charlottenburg.

If you think there is no need to go to FAR CHARLOTTENURG, unless you wanna visit the Zoo or Helmut Newton’s Museum, well of course, it’s a nonsense. It’s very common in Berlin that people shiver when they just hear ”Charlottenburg” because its linked with ”OLD WEALTHY GERMANS’’ and ‘’NO PARTY”. As i said: NONSENSE. This bar started being hip already in the 80’s. It gets only better
Schwarzes Cafe is an excellent example of the old bohemian Berlin, mixture of a bar, restaurant and a cafe with outstanding food :like the carrot- orange-ginger soup or chocolate cake which name ”death by chocolate” announces the verity of what you will experience. Wide list of drinks, lot of homemade stuff, and infinite choice in food is impressive, at weekends you won’t find a place even to stand ,well, im exaggerating but the place is indeed popular. The  friendy staff makes you feel like home. (they even sit next to you at the table sometimes and start a conversation).
It’s open 24 hours everyday so you can get a breakfast, lunch or a  dinner there or late, with company of drinks-  quiche or a cake or a sandwich.

For chocolate lovers- there is around 10 different  kinds of  hot chocolate- you’ll love it..

Like the whole Berlin- Schwarzes Cafe is a neverending story, really worth visiting , especially if you’ve  already  taken a trip to Charlottenburg.

Berlin should be my second name- i like my name too much, however,Berlin is the love of my life. If I leave it than only to have a love affair with another place, but I'll come back. From rock n roll dives to posh champagne bars , open airs, flea markets, bookstores, concept stores, caffes etc- i ve been (almost) everywhere. It's an electric city powered by thousands of different, creative people and it offers infinite cultural possibilities. If u won't fall in love in Berlin like i did, don't miss your chance for a fling at least..
