Located in the hearth of Kreuzberg , restaurant Mariona welcomes you with an ambient atmosphere and offers a true fine dinning experience. Predominantly Spanish cuisine, Catalan cuisine to be more specific, one can enjoy a delicious variety of tapas, main dishes and home-made Spanish deserts.

The service is professional, friendly and fast. Fresh ingredients, quality food and classy surroundings make up for an extraordinary dining experience. The starters vary from  6-7 euro and one can choose from seafood dishes to gourmet burger and veggie plates. Main courses are between 17-18 euros and they change daily. The deserts are extraordinary and include, but are not limited to Crema Catalana, Panna Cotta and fresh fruit garnished with cheese. If you decide to go with a three course menu (which I do recommend), Mariona offers a a special price of 24 euros for dishes of your choosing.

I go back there once a month, only to appreciate the best truffle mayonnaise burger there is; and the ossobuco risotto, occasionally offered, is out of this world. In the summertime, one can experience the humble, but rather cute outdoor seating. The lunch and dinner menu changes on a daily basis, and the drink list includes a small but fine selection of Spanish wines. Both reservations and walk-ins are welcomed. If you ask me,  restaurant Mariona is a true gem in the midst of Berlin’s currywurst und döner culture.
