Yam yam Berlin is YUM YUM!! Divine!!  Perfect for a spontaneous lunch or  a relaxed dinner, fully berliner hype,  located ”in  der mitte von Mitte” -in the centre of the center.  Great, quality food:  enormous soups – they are soooo good,, lots of dishes with kimchi-korean special,  pancakes (choen), dumplings (mandu),  wraps (bread with fresh veggies and spicy dip), diverse Korean  tea assortment, you can’t decide what you should  get- you want it all! The staff is very friendly,  and prices also-very friendly. Only one imperfection- no alcohol, and actually it’s a  pity because ”ein bierchen” (‘’a small beer’’ in German , would match the sweet-spicy food  like a dream. If you like fish, you must try the dried fish in the infinitely delicious sweet sauce -it’s an appetizer.  Then get one of the noodle soups and you won’t stand up from the table for a couple  next hours (it’s big) – take it away if you feel guilty that you just can’t finish your heavenly meal .

If you’re somewhere around, starving after a tour through hip concept stores, groovy bookstores and you’re exhausted after meeting so many good looking people, go and serve yourself a YAM YAM!! If you’re really exhausted, there is a place to lay down (if you have luck and it’s still free), dircetly by the window, so you can observe the beautiful world behind it. It feels like Kaiser’s feast in korean style, ask your friend to feed you with the mandu and you’re back in antiquity.

Reservation only by phone.

Berlin should be my second name- i like my name too much, however,Berlin is the love of my life. If I leave it than only to have a love affair with another place, but I'll come back. From rock n roll dives to posh champagne bars , open airs, flea markets, bookstores, concept stores, caffes etc- i ve been (almost) everywhere. It's an electric city powered by thousands of different, creative people and it offers infinite cultural possibilities. If u won't fall in love in Berlin like i did, don't miss your chance for a fling at least..
